Perception: The way we see the world around us

We all look at the world in different ways. Each person has their own individual perception of events going on around them. As a group we decided to take a closer look at how perception shapes our lives. We all wrote about different subjects: media’s influence on body image, interracial relationships, how people view media and first impressions. However we found commonalities through our research. Differences in individual perception stem from our variances of culture, age, sex, gender, and race which all color our view of the world around us.
